Life lately

Hey, again!! It's been a while since I've last wrote on this blog, and I'll explain why in a bit :) (Side note: I'm watching friends while I write this because I finished the 12th season of Grey's Anatomy... That's Important cause they are fabulous shows so if you haven't WATCH THEM) ANYWAY, hey!! Life has been swell lately. Mostly, it's been filled with work. But, of course, there has been some fun mixed in there. Here's some selfies in my work attire. It's pretty flattering, obviously. The first few days of work were pretty crazy. I work for Unger farms, in farmers markets every Saturday and in their farm store (that is on their farm) 4-5 times a week. At the farmers market we have to set up booths and I'm running around most of the morning. It's pretty insane. At the farm store we do all kinds of stuff. I work the counter, I make the food (waffles, sandwiches, crepes, drinks, salads, etc.), I stock the berry prod

LIFE IS TOO SHORT

((I should apologize, firstly, because I've already posted today. This idea of this post had been bugging me all day and I couldn't leave it unwritten. Maybe it will sit in my drafts for a while, who knows.)) You know when your in 5th grade and your teacher starts to talk about puberty and how your body won't look like yours in a couple years? Or in 8th grade, when your teacher starts warning you that, yes, high school will be 10 times harder than this? Or maybe Junior year, when everyone seems to feel like it's their occupation to tell you that in two years your world will be flipped upside down? Change is, unfortunately and maybe even enjoyably,  inevitable. We all experience it at one point or another. Maybe more accurately we experience is at a million points or another (see what I did there?). For me, the change hits me hardest when I go to visit Roseburg, or I drive through the town where I spent most of my childhood, or when I visit my dad. Now,

GRADUATIONS

Guess what?! If you guessed that a while back I graduated from High School then you guessed correctly!! I'm GRADUATED! Which is extremely weird when I think about it, but I kinda already touched on that in my last blog post about my last day of school (which also hasn't quite set in yet).  That Thursday was graduation practice, which went well. But of course it wasn't anything too exciting, and it was mostly full of anxious teenagers who couldn't wait to be done (so, of course, lots of jokes were to be expected). Friday was awesome . My best friend, who used to live in Roseburg with me but now lives in Eugene, came up and spent all day with me! It was mostly full of errands, but it was super fun. Graduation was at 7, and it was a super short and sweet ceremony. I loved it! Unfortunately, some of my family was held up in traffic because of a bad oil spill thingy or something. But, luckily, most everyone made it. ((Ju

BEACH & FRIENDS & LAST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL

Loves, it's been too long!!  (Pardon me as I freak out at being scheduled to work the night of graduation... ok, email sent... hopefully a crisis averted... I'm back) Lol this really has become like a journal. Which reminds me, I should write in my journal because it's been over a week, which never  happens ever . HEY!! These past few weeks have been absolutely insane but so so so fun. They've been full of friends and adventures and the beginnings of my new job (which consists of me going around Portland working at different farmers markets and selling strawberries!) which I love.  Where to begin with this random update & thoughts about my life?  Well, the weekend after me coming home from Las Vegas was the week of the training for my new job, and that weekend Roseburg's choir was singing at State in Newburg. If ya didn't know, Newburg is super close to Forest Grove, so I had  to go and visit my pals.  I only got a picture w
