Updates all around

Hello again!! It hasn't been a really long time since last time I posted something, but it has been a little while since I updated about what's been going on in my life lately so I thought I would do that! Side note, I was talking to my mom the other day and I said "I'm pretty sure this summer's been the best summer of my life" and it's seriously true. OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS! I'm so overwhelmed with love. I am so grateful for everyone I've grown closer to this summer, and all the cool stuff I've done. Enough with the sap, geez, Ella. Onto the updating :) A few weeks ago, our church put on this barn dance for all the cool people who were 18 and up. Honestly, I wasn't too excited for it, but my friend Evan (above) dragged me and I ended up having a super fun time. And meeting more super fun people!! I've gone into Portland three times in the last three weeks, and twice I went to my favorite bookstore EVER, Pow

Still learning

Most of you know that I struggled finding a topic for this next blog post and I recruited people to help me. Originally, my choices were between "love" "life lately" "100 things I love" or "5 favorite books" and now, here I am, writing about none of those.  The crazy part is, I totally wrote a whole blog post about love, I even wrote a list of 100 things I loved, and I got bored . And if there is one thing I learned from years of looking up writing advice from authors, it's that if you are bored, the reader is bored.  So here is my new idea, something I've been struggling with and working a lot at lately, Forgiveness.  For my whole life, this was never a weakness that was super noticeable to me. When I would evaluate myself, it was never a "Ella!! Man, you NEED to work on forgiveness" situation. No one had ever wronged me enough to make me not want to forgive them. That last sentence is still true, actually, but I h

Roseburg, Oregon

HI EVERYONE!! I hope this new post finds you happy and healthy, luckily that's where I am right now. Obviously the title of the post gives you an idea of what I'm going to rant about today. Roseburg, Oregon, and all my crazy experiences and all my memories and my thoughts about moving. Yesterday, Saturday, I got up at 5:40 and left my house at 6:20 to be at work at 7:00 at the Beaverton Farmers market. Work was crazy since our manager was gone in central Oregon. The owner of the farm was actually our manager for the day which was kinda cool and stressful. I got off work around 11, and from there got changed at a Burger King and headed down south. I stopped in Eugene to see my bff and to meet her boyfriend. We walked around the mall trying to find frozen yogurt for about an hour! It was pretty funny since the place the GPS was telling us to go to didn't exist. We ended up drinking milkshakes at Carls Jr. :) I then headed down to Roseburg. I went to my bf

Catching up pt. 2 :))

GEEZ LOUISE. It's been such a long time I posted until just now when I posted pt. 1 of this super long catching up post BUT I had to do it cause there is so much to say, so much I want to say, but I want to talk about what's been happening in my life first!! So here we go! If you read my last post, you know that my friend coulsen came to visit. After that, all this craziness happened: I had dinner with some really really awesome homies. My mom and Tim got sealed in the temple for all time and eternity and two of my sisters were able to be with us on that day. It was awesome!! For the first time in over a year, we had MOST of the family together (we were still missing Trampis and Kenna for work reasons). It was still a great day. My super awesome cousin, Taz, got his mission call to SOUTH KOREA!! I was able to watch him open and read it on facetime. I'd never seen a mission call opened in real time like that, so it was quite to experienc

Catching up pt. 1

Hello, it's been a while!! If you follow me on social media, you would know why ;) OKAY!! SO, this is gonna be kinda long because I've packed in SO MUCH in my life in the last few weeks. I'll probably comment little and mostly show pictures, just to save time since my life is seriously insane right now. So, to start it off, I guess I'll explain what the crap is going on :) So a while back, probably around Christmas time, my mom decided it would be fun to go to Disneyland! And that's how it started. Originally, it was going to be my mom, step dad, and two little siblings and I all going, but Trampis and Jess (my older brother and his girlfriend) were in added onto the party. They got here on the Saturday before we left. The next day we all attended church together, which was really cool. And the next day, Monday, the 4th of July, we were on a plane headed to LA. We landed, found out condo that would be our home for the next week, and w
